Have a look at this website: bookfinder.com I read a book by Barbara Sleigh about 3 years ago and it was one of my favourites. It was called Winged Magic and I still have it. Its about dragons and has a red-winged dragon on the front cover. I have tried to find it on the internet but can't find an image of the cover. I will take a photo of it when I have some time.
