The Tide Knot

Helen Dunmore writes really well. This is the 2nd book and after this comes the deep.

Saffy and her brother are really likable and you can easily identify with them. Its really sad that they miss their dad so much and can't speak to their mum about it though.

It really makes me want to go to Ingo (The living world under the Sea) but of course thats not possible.

I could not wait to read the next one.

So I rushed out and dragging my mother, forced her to buy both the crossing of Ingo and the Deep.

Soon we were both reading about Ingo, next we had my dad hooked too, which just goes to show that a well written childrens book is good for adults too.

What an excellent series for anyone who likes the Mer Folk and legends of selkies.

The covers are brilliant too and drag you down to Ingo ;)

The usual trouble when you finish a good series of book- there is a gaping hole in your life and you wonder how you will find something to fill it.
