Some old comics

Comics are cool.  I like Calvin and Hobbes, Garfield, Peanuts (Charlie Brown), Hi and Louis, Hagar the Horrible to name a few.

There were some old comic books around from 1988-1991 called Crisis, Revolver and 2000AD.  They were quite wierd.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crisis_(Fleetway  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revolver_(comics)

2000AD is still running but the other two aren't.

There was a story in them about Paul Finn who was an eco.  http://www.internationalhero.co.uk/f/finn.htm

2000AD has been published since 1977 and is a cult comic in the UK.  Judge Dredd is the hero and there are other stories that feature from time to time as well.  Strontium Dog is one of them and Slaine is another.  http://www.internationalhero.co.uk/2000ad.htm

Pat Mills was nicknamed 'the godfather of British comics. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pat_Mills
